A one-mile service road encircles the gardens, while many paths let the visitors explore the inside areas. Features include the Fruiting Orchard, Shade Garden, Vegetable Display Garden and herbaceous ground covers.

Interesting plants from places like Brazil and Australia seem to do well in this unique soil.

This scaled down country cottage can be found in the Child's Garden.

The names of the popular gardens are the Water-wise Garden, Herb Garden, English Rose Garden, and Garden of the Senses. A small lake attracts various birds such as ducks, geese and blue heron.
