Inspired by a visit to the Redwood Forest in Northern California, the son of Frank Lloyd Wright constructed this chapel in 1951. It is built almost entirely of glass and sits between coastal redwoods. Redwood pillars support the glass walls.

The Banning Residence
The Banning Residence, a Greek Revival mansion, was built in 1864 and features a collection of Victorian furnishings.

This was the residence of Civil War veteran Gen. Phineas Banning, one of the founders of the City of Los Angeles and a developer of the L.A. Harbor.

Cornstalk Fence
A walk around the mansion reveals an unusual cornstalk fence. It's a bit of New Orleans right here in Wilmington.

Harbor Park in Wilmington is an oasis to explore. The Kaiser Medical Facility is reflected in Harbor Lake.
